What We Believe
Calvary Chapel Ruidoso Is the fellowship of believers who exist under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is to experience life in Christ and to be a life-giving church to the world.
Is a fellowship of believers who exist under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is to experience life in Christ and to be a life-giving church to the world (John 10:10; Matthew 16:18; Matthew 28:19-20).
We are a non-denominational Calvary Chapel Church connected to the Calvary Global Network and the Calvary Chapel Association. Yet we also partner with churches and ministries within the body of Christ who are biblically-based and missions driven for the cause of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (John 17).
WE BELIEVE there is a great need for life-giving churches in the world (John 10:10; Ephesians 3:20).
WE BELIEVE worship of God is priority in our lives because He deserves to be glorified in all we do because of what he has done in the gospel (Psalm 115:1; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16).
WE BELIEVE In prayer because that is where we acquire personally and corporately the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1, 2, 4:31, 6:4; Ephesians 5:18; Matthew 28:20).
WE BELIEVE teaching the word of God with simple Bible exposition and practical Bible application. We primarily teach through books of the Bible (2 Tim 2:15; 3:16; 4:2).
WE BELIEVE in disciple making in small groups We call “connect groups.” We believe believers best to grow and expand their faith by doing life around Bibles, coffee, food, and people in real life settings (Acts 2:42).
WE BELIEVE everyone’s story matters. We equip people to understand their story within God‘s great story. Then, we equip people to share that story with other people who need to understand that their stories matter also (Acts 9:1-19; 22:1-21; 26).
WE BELIEVE everyone is designed by God to serve uniquely in the body of Christ and the community that they live. We equip believers to understand their spiritual gifts and how God is designed them and personality and passions so they can fulfill God‘s call on their own lives (Gen 1:27; John 10:10; Mark 10:45; 1 Corinthians 12:18; Eph 4:11).
